The Orange County Marketplace, once known as the OC Swap Meet, has been around since 1969. There’s a little something for everyone and with approximately two million visitors every year, it’s one of the largest events in Southern California. Located in the OC Fair & Event Center, it’s a must experience shopping experience.
The Orange County Market Place boasts over 1,000 food, merchandise, arts & crafts vendors, and plenty more. Accompanied by all this is kids’ play areas, a large stage for live music, butcher shop, full-service hair salons, and a mix of snack and drink stands. Additionally, one area of the Market Place is titled “Behind the Picket Fence,” and is dedicated to repurposed or vintage items.
“A kaleidoscope of people, cultures, sight, and sounds, the Orange County Market Place is a day of adventure and festivities for all who pass through its gates. Each weekend, merchants offer an eclectic range of merchandise and services; original artwork, embroidery, automobiles, fresh fruits and vegetables, bread, clothes, barbecues, spas, home decor, and even on-site haircuts” – OC Market Place Site.
