If you’re looking for an event filled with amazing food, fun attractions, and entertainment fit for the whole family, the 626 Night Market might just be your best bet.
The 626 Night Market is an annual Asian-inspired street and food festival that began growing its roots in Pasadena, CA in 2012. This event became a staple in the community and more and more people started to notice. As the years went on and the popularity of the event took a meteoric rise, there was a need to expand their reach to different areas in California.
OC Night Market was introduced in Orange County, CA just two years later in 2014 and currently resides at the OC Fair & Event Center. Norcal Night Market was introduced just four years after that in 2018 and sets up shop at the Alameda County Fairgrounds.
The name was officially changed from OC Night Market to 626 Night Market in 2020, and this applies to all locations across the state.
This outdoor event is complete with hundreds of delicious and unique food vendors and tons of other attractions including live bands, arts and crafts, apparel vendors, and games for all ages. Keep in mind that most vendors are cash only. There are ATMs throughout the market if need be.
While this market is an amazing place to enjoy food and be with good company, there is a deeper meaning behind it all. This annual event “aims to unite and empower the community by serving as a platform for showcasing local talent including chefs, entrepreneurs, and artists.’
